Creating Change – Conscious Lifestyle Programme Launch

conscious-life-style-progra-455x300GCX Africa has, along with the Spur Foundation, assisted Creating Change – an organisation focused on empowering South African youth for a sustainable future – in the launch of the Conscious Life Style Programme with two youth groups at the Desmond Tutu HIV Youth Centre in Masiphumulele and two youth groups at Marine and Kleinberg Primary Schools in Ocean View.

The program considers socio-economic and environmental issues as well as affordability, nutrition, health, hygiene, adaptation and sustainability in food. It also focuses on re-introducing culture and heritage to cooking as well as offering new choices in a fun and engaging way. Creating Change aims to create effective cross-cultural integration for youth of all backgrounds while encouraging healthy, sustainable and affordable cooking and eating habits in South Africa’s youth.

GCX Africa is proud to assist Creating Change and Spur Foundation in this amazing project.
